La Posada roughly translates to Lodge and/or Bed & Breakfast in Spanish.
Since its establishment in 1995, we have been honored
to have customers that are avid fans and repeaters.

The owner who grew up in the Village of Toi located in the West Coast of Izu
spent his 20's as the Mexican Judo National Team Coach and after 25 years
teaching he is considered one of the Father's of Mexican Judo.

After returning to Japan his passion to introduce the delicacies
and hospitality of Mexico led him to open La Posada in his home town of Toi.

La Posada Family looks forward to your stay during your next trip to Izu.
